How we review
Our method is deliberately boring: read the label, check what peer-reviewed research supports at what dose, verify third-party testing, and grade accordingly. Each product is rated 1 to 5 on ease of use, features, value for money, and support, and the overall grade is the average of those four on a 10-point scale. The marketing story never enters the grade. Nothing here is medical advice - supplements interact with medications and conditions, so talk to a healthcare professional who knows your history.
What this method does not include
The limits of this method are part of the method. Nobody here takes every supplement graded on this site, and the FAQ on this page says so in as many words. A grade is built from the label, the dose measured against what peer-reviewed research supports, third-party testing and certificates, the price per serving, and what long-term users report. Where a brand publishes no dose or no certificate of analysis, the page says it is missing rather than assuming it exists. Nothing here is medical advice.
How something gets on the list
A product gets graded because people are already searching for it, not because the brand pays well. Plenty of what is graded here earns nothing. In this category especially, letting commission move a grade would be the one unforgivable thing.
Our independence
Some links are affiliate links and a purchase through one may pay us a commission. It funds the research time behind these grades. It does not buy one - a product with a strong affiliate program and thin evidence still gets a thin grade.
Corrections
Formulations, doses and prices change between batches, so each figure carries the date it was read. If a label has changed since it was read here, send the product page and the grade gets rechecked. Corrections that come with a source are handled first.
